Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead!

(3 awesome Halloween parties later...) [pretty much copied from my LJ entry because I'm lazy like that XD]

A MAJOR photo spam of my Halloween!! I was hideously busy yesterday, first with a Halloween-themed Gal meetup and then a Halloween party at Milla's place~ (not to mention organizing a Halloween-themed Christmas party for the people at my workplace on Friday!) but I had such a great time!! I seriously don't remember the last time I enjoyed my life as much as I did yesterday.

Apparently my outfit was successful too!! My self-confidence went from six feet under right through the roof because everyone was so nice to me and I got a lot of compliments! o3o I've been so down lately, this was exactly what I needed ;___;




This is how I looked at the party on Friday! I'm so bummed I couldn't find a nice jacket so my outfit was kinda lame... But I really like how the military hat + eye-patch thing worked out 8) I don't have any photos because I left my camera at home... I'm hoping my co-workers will upload some later, if they're any good I'll show them then ♥


The Gal Meetup @ Happi

On Saturday, 12:30 pm, we met up at the Helsinki Central Railway Station as usual, took a subway and headed to have a Halloween gal party! I'm too tired to write a full account (and what would you do with one, really?), but let's just say I enjoyed it even more than last time because now I got to know some girls better. ♥

Emma braved the lions' den and came with me, this time~ But she had to leave in the middle for work, so she couldn't do a Halloween costume

"Hey baby did you hurt yourself when you fell from Heaven? ;D"
"Bitch, PLEASE! Remove yourself from my personal space, I'm not interested!"

Great minds think alike, so it's no surprise our costumes were alike as well! We had feather boas...

I had a great time and I was so sad I had to leave so early D: But I hope I'll be free for the next meetup! ♥


The Party @ TilQ's


So, after the flight with my fellow witches of the West, the East and the South, I headed out on a heroic adventure to find my way to TilQ's place in the dark! I was successful until near the end, where the evil night made me take a wrong turn and get lost lol XD After walking back and forth for a while, I found a familiar crossroad, promptly walked to the wrong door and retreated before ringing the doorbell because there wasn't enough noise coming from behind the door... Milla lived in the house next to that one. XD

Having finally gotten to the next level, I was now faced with another challenge: monsters were pouring on me from all around! This is what greeted me when I came in:




The food was really gourmet: brain muffins, a hand-shaped pizza-kinda-thing and candy worms (below)!

Tick Tack

Ohhhh gosh my day sucks so bad X__x Busted my leg at gym yesterday (I could finish there just fine, but it started bothering me at work and is even worse today, I've been limping all day... SPORTS ARE DANGEROUS.), woke up 15 minutes before I had to be out of the door today, had to run to catch the bus (which obviously worked wonders on my poor injured leg) and then didn't get a seat and had to stand all through the 45 minute ride... still on the injured leg.

In Helsinki, it was speed-walking to Coffee House, a 90-cent vanilla ice latte, and more speed-walking to make it to the Spanish class... which, of course, turned out to be an exam. D:

Well, luckily the Japanese class and the Tudors class after that were nice enough, and apparently I'm going to drop by at Nea and Pihla's new place sometime this evening to help them organize the place (they moved in yesterday), but still, I'm completely worn out... So, after all this misery, I come home and open my blog and take a look at the blogs I'm following, and this catches my eye.

I was like WHOA WAIT and did a double-take, and a triple-take, and I still think I'm dreaming. :o (I wouldn't even mention it here, y'know, just in case I'm seeing things... XDD but Ida has apparently disabled comments again and I had to express my amazement somehow.) She's one of my favorite gals as far as style goes, so I'm absolutely stunned and incredibly flattered to even be mentioned as a "good gal" by her *w* I don't know how I deserved this but I'm almost giddy with happiness and practically climbing walls here~~~

Though I still sort of think I'm dreaming lol XDDDDDD If you read this, Ida, I just wanted to say wow and a huge thank you. *w*


But anyways! While limping from school to the Railway Station, I did find a couple of things for my Halloween outfits, though! (I'll have two - one for the F8 party on Friday, one for our Gal meetup & the party at TilQ's on Saturday.)

I've been wanting a hat like this for years *w* Ok, it's very clearly a costume hat and would look kinda stupid in an everyday outfit, but still XD I'd be ecstatic if I found one like that that I could actually use outside Halloween parties! Please excuse my otherwise bleargh look, I still think it's pretty good for someone who woke up 15 minutes before having to leave...

Also notice the fake piercing 8) I've wanted to pierce my lip since I was 16, but couldn't do it when I was a minor because Mom didn't approve, and couldn't do it later because I work at a restaurant and it wouldn't have enough time to heal... ;__;


Not much of a fan of this picture otherwise, but I think my eye make-up turned out pretty nice~ Though my lower lashes are still hiding somewhere. D: This was on Saturday.



Had coffee with Elsi on Sunday; I arrived at Jumbo a bit before she got off from work, so I had the time to photoshoot a little~



Oh yeah, and only 51 full days to go~~

Blue Glitter

Okayyy~ Since Halloween is closing in (though I'll be partying in Halloween costumes in a week, not this weekend D:), I wanted to try out an idea I had for my potential make up. I was torn between trying a pale ice fairy-ish thing and a darker version of the same, and the result is kind of not dark enough/not pale enough. The blue glitter worked surprisingly well, though.

I couldn't find my bottom lashes ;__;

Here you can also see how the green lenses look on me~ As I said, it's pretty much my own color but a little more vivid + they make my eyes look bigger. Btw, this is the first time I'm showing a close-up pic of my eye. XD I simply hate close-ups of myself. This one, too, but my expression was so silly I had to cut it out.

This is how it looked after a touch of Photoshop. :_D It doesn't really look much like me, which means my Photoshopping was, for once, successful... I guess...

Still not sure if I'll wear that make up or if I'll dress as a witch or a pirate. And anyways, if I do that make up, what will I wear with it? :o Oh, decisions...
